Roliga Projekt

Satans jävla helvetes skit... Står och håller på med golvet, och när jag plockar fram nästa skiva så ser jag att den inte är av den fukttåliga typen... Vanlig jävla spånskiva! Samtliga av dom fyra jag har kvar att lägga. Får nog ta mig ett snack med Lantmännen imorgon. Typiskt att det är beställningsvara...

Too much swearing to translate. When I picked up the third flooring board, I noticed that it wasn't the waterresistant type. Just plain old particle board. All of the four remaining are the same!
Put up an image of the plumbing for the pond. One outlet in the bottom and one up at waterlevel. I think this will remove as much feces as possible.

Tusan också... Ångspärren tog slut. Kommer som en överraskning varje gång! Men men... Har iaf fått gjort avloppet. Lite pill var det för att få allt rätt. Köpte badkarsutlopp i plast, bör gå att få riktigt tätt mot glasfibern, när det blir dags för det! Blir till att köpa lite ångspärr och dammduk imorgon efter jobb...

Darn it... Ran out of vapour barrier. Always comes as a surprise. Well well... Atleast I got the sewerpipes sorted out. A bit of twiddling to get everything right. Bought bathtuboutlets in plastic, should be able to get a nice seal against the fibreglass, when it's time for that! Guess I'll have to go buy some vapour barrier and pondlining tomorrow after work...

Fått gjort tonvis idag, trots både mässa och ett ganska långt besök på Skattkammarön med grabben. Han var iofs helt slut vid sju-tiden och däckade i sängen då!
Gjort idag då? Fräst ner spår i fönsterbrädan för värmekabeln. Blev kanske inte det rakaste jag gjort, men jag tror det räcker mer än väl. Reglat upp hela golvet med 195 reglar. Och det blev banne mig rakt och ännu viktigare - helt plant! Skruvat ihop allt, så det går att plocka ner allt om det skulle behövas nån gång... Hann även trycka ner lite 195 isolering, lägga på ångspärr, skruva på första golvskivan och såga ut för bäcken! Puh!
Nu blir det rejält med sömn, sen iväg imorgon och köpa trälim för våtrum, sen får man se om man hinner få dit alla golvskivor imorgon!

Got loads of work done today, despite both the fair and a pretty long visit to an indoor playpark with my son. Though he was totally beat by seven and crashed in bed at that time!
Work done today? Cut down the grooves for the heating cable in the windowsill. Not the straightest cuts I've made, but I think it will work out just great anyway. Fastened all the beams for the flooring using 195mm beams. And THAT was straight, and even more important - completely level! Used screws for everything, just in case it ever needs to be torn up... Also had the time to lay down some 195mm insulation, put on some vapour barrier, fasten the first flooring board and saw out the creek! Phew!
Now it's time for some serious amount of sleep, then away tomorrow and buy woodglue for wetrooms, after that we'll see if I can lay out all the flooring boards tomorrow!

Inte så mycket gjort idag. Dragit ut spackel på nedersta delen, det som kommer att täckas av golvet sedan. Bäst att få ut det innan man börjar skruva upp golvbjälkarna! Har även måttat upp golvytan och lagt in i AutoCAD för att rita ut golvvärmen. Nu med isolering och spånskivor, så ser terrariet ut att bli exakt 8kvm.
Fick även godkänt av elektrikern att dra upp golvvärmen i fönsterbrädan! Fast imorgon blir det Malmö Tropikmässa givetvis!

Not much done today. Put up some filler on the lower part of the walls, that which will be covered by the floor later. Best to get that sorted before fastening the flooringbeams! Have also measured up the floorarea and got it into AutoCAD to route out the floorheating. Now with insulation and particle boards, the terrarium looks to be exactly 8 sq.m.
Also got an approval from the electrician to route the floorheating up on the windowsill! But tomorrow it's time for the tropicsfair in Malmö!

Fasade kanterna till fönstren och dörren. Tusan vad snyggt det blir. Nästan värt att köpa en egen handöverfräs! Ingen risk att leguanerna skär sig om dom trillar på denna kanten... Blir lite mer fräsning imorgon, ska fräsa ner spår i fönsterbrädan för värmekabeln. Men jag måste nog in till elektrikern och fråga om jag får göra så.. Men det kan juh vara bra mot kallras - och skönt för leguanerna att ligga och sola på under vintern! Har även dragit ut sättlim i alla skarvar, både lodräta och horisontella. Nu börjar det bli riktigt tätt!

Filleted all the edges on the windows and door today. It really looks good. Almost worth buying my own milling machine! No chance the iguanas are going to cut themself if they fall down on this edge... There will be a little more milling tomorrow, will grind down a groove in the windowsill for the heating cable. But I probably have to go over to the electrician first and ask if I can do so... My guess is that it could help with the cooling from the window - and nice for the iguanas to lay on and bask even in the winter.

Väggarna är klara! Imorgon blir det att gå över alla skruvar för att se om någon behöver dras åt mer. Bågarna i valvet kan vänta... Äntligen dags för golv!

The walls are finally done! Tomorrow I will go over all the screws, to see if any needs tightening. Will wait with the arches in the vault... Finally time for the floor!

Satte upp skivan mot norrväggen idag. Nu fattas bara söderväggen vad gäller spånskivor. Men innan jag kan sätta upp dom ska valvet fixas. Hann med att bygga upp stommen till underdelen idag. Återstår att plasta in det och sen är det dags för dom sista spånskivorna.
Sen är det äntligen dags för golvet att börja byggas!

Put up the board against the north wall tonight. All thats left now is the southern wall, atleast when it comes to the walls. But before I can put those up, I need to fix the vault. Had enough time tonight to build the frame for bottom of it. What's left is to seal it with vapour barrier, then it's time for the last particle-boards.
After that it's finally time to start building the floor!

Snedväggarna är klara... Blev sent idag, undrar vad chefen ska säga om man kommer försent imorgon? Hehe...
Finlir kvar runt dörren, men det ska som sagt sparas till senare. Nu återstår en skiva mot norrväggen, sen är det dags för väggen med valvet. Har börjat få en aning om hur det ska se ut när det är klart (valvet). Dags för sängen nu, mer byggande imorgon!

The anglewalls are done... Got a bit late tonight, wonder what the boss will think if I'll be late tomorrow?
Some twiddling to do around the door, but that will be saved for later. What I have left now is a board on the north wall, then it's time for the wall with the vault(?). Starting to get an idea on what that will look like when it's done. Time for bed now, more building tomorrow!

Såja! Ännu mera isolering uppsatt, fuktspärr likaså. Blev klar med alla spånskivor i datarummet, runt fönster och dörr. Snart dags att låna hem handöverfräsen till alla kanter. Ska se om man kan få upp lite skivor mot snedväggen ikväll. Fast nu börjar det bli lite trångt därinne, iaf för att stå och kapa spånskivor på 2.5x1.2m...

Well... Even more insulation have been put up, and also more vapour-barrier. Finished up with all the particle-boards in the computerroom today, around the window and door. About time to bring home the handheld milling machine for all the edges. Will see if I get some boards put up on the anglewall tonight. It's getting a bit cramped in there now, atleast when it comes to cutting 2.5mx1.2m particle-boards...

Snedväggarna till datarummet är uppsatta. Det som fattas det rummet nu är lite spånskiva runt fönster och dörr, sen spackling och målning... Hålet till höger i bild är ingången till terrariet. Ska försöka komma på något bra sätt att både få det fuktspärrat och låsbart. Får nog spara det projektet till senare dock. Efter lite sömn nu, så blir det till att sätta upp mer spånskivor!

The anglewalls for the computerroom have been put in place. What's missing in that room now is some particle-boards around the window and door, then some filler to smooth things out - then painting... The hole to the right on the image is the entrance to the terrarium. Will try to think up something clever to both seal the humidity inside the terrarium, and still have the door lockable. Will have to save that project for later though. After some sleep now, I will be putting up more particle-boards!

Börjar närma sig med fönstret... Ska fasa alla kanter med handöverfräs senare.
Har inte uppdaterat så mycket denna veckan pga en förkylning. Inte riktigt pallat att sitta framför datorn, än mindre att bygga. Men det släpper nog snart - så det blir mer byggande!

Getting closer with the window... Will chamfer all the edges later.
Haven't been updating the build log this week due to a cold. Haven't had the energy to sit infront of the computer, let alone building. But it will probably let go soon - so there will be more building!

Inte så mycket gjort i helgen. Vart bortbjuden på 30-årsgille. Fattas lite skivor runt fönstret bara.

Isolerat ikväll. Både östra och västra väggen är isolerade och redo för ångspärr. Lite småpill kvar med norra väggen, måste fixa lite med ventilationen och lite elkablar. Men det känns ju som det händer saker iaf!

Done some insulating tonight. Both the east and west wall have been insulated, and are ready for vaporlock. Have some twiddling to do on the north wall, will have to fix the ventilation and some electrical wiring. But at least it feels like it's getting somewhere!

Mer reglar uppsatta idag. Bilden visar östra väggen, men jag hann även med att få upp 4 reglar på västra sidan. Tar lite tid med ett så här gammalt hus - än så länge har jag inte hittat en enda rät vinkel på orginalbyggnationen. Blir lite bättre nu hoppas jag!

More beams put up today. The image is of the eastern wall, but I also had the time to put up 4 beams on the western wall. It does take some time with a house as old as this one - so far I haven't found one 90 degree angle anywhere on the original construction. Hopefully that will change for the better now!

Fått upp väggarna ikväll. Till datarummet d.v.s... Kom inget från Lantmännen idag, men dom kanske väntar tills golvspånen kommer hem! Lite småfix kvar runt fönster och dörr.

Got the walls up tonight. For the computerroom that is... Nothing from the hardwarestore today, but they might be waiting for the particleboards for the floor before shipping. Some small work to be done around the window and door.

Nästan färdigreglat i datarummet. Passar juh bra eftersom spånskivorna till terrariet kommer imorgon. Får dra lite flexslang till elen först.

Almost done putting up the beams in the computerroom. Works out good, since the particleboards for the terrarium is coming tomorrow. Will have to draw some more cabletubing for the electrics first though..

Första väggen. Eftersom jag bara fick hem dom vanliga spånskivorna så får jag ju börja med mitt lilla data/leguantillbehörsrum. Tyvärr kan jag ju inte sätta upp alla väggar till datarummet eftersom jag måste få in mer golvspån och dom fuktskyddade spånen... Ska försöka att inte glömma att den stora glasskivan som ska sitta mellan terrarie och matrum ska in också. Får ta och mäta öppningen till köket, så kanske man kan ta in den det hållet istället.
Som synes så fanns inga takgips kvar imorse. Så nu sitter där golvgips i taket. Bra när man vill slå klackarna i taket! Hehe

First wall. Since they only delivered the standard particle-boards, I had to start with my computer/iguanasuppliesroom. Unfortunatly I can't complete it since I have to get more boards, both for the floor and the moisture-treated ones for the walls. Will try not to forget the fact that I also need room to get the big glass-screen in, the one that will sit between the terrarium and diningroom. Going to take some measurements on the opening to the kitchen, maybe it will be possible to take that route instead...
As you can see, there was no ceiling-plaster left this morning when I went to buy some more. So now I have floor-plaster in the ceiling!

Nästan all takgips på plats! Klockan hann bli mycket... Som synes fattas där en remsa att sätta upp. Gipsskivorna tog slut! Trodde först att jag räknat fel, men när jag kollade plocklistan så hade dom glömt två stycken... Kan ju bli irriterad för mindre! Men det blir till sängs nu och sen iväg tidigt till Kvist & Knast för att köpa några skivor till! Måste ha uppe skivorna innan grabben ska hämtas!

Almost all the ceilingplaster is up! Time really runs away when doing this kind of work. As can be seen, there is a bit missing before it's completed. I ran out of boards! First I thought that I'd miscalculated when I ordered, but when I checked the picklist I saw that they had forgotten to ship two boards... Can get irritated for less! Will have to go to bed now, then away early tomorrow to buy a few more. Need to complete the ceiling before picking up my kid!

Då var ångspärren uppe nu... Varit extra noggrann med tejpen vid alla skarvar. Här ska det inte försvinna någon fukt på fel ställe.

The vapor barrier is up. Have been extra careful with the tape around all joints. No humidity will escape here in any wrong places...

Fått ett fint litet ormbo i terrariet nu! Hehe. Kabel och rör dragna nu till alla dosor i terrariet, dosan i datarummet kvar att dra. Fast varför har man alltid kortärmat på sig när man vet att man ska upp och riva i isoleringen... Fanskapet kliar ju ordentligt. Tur att badrummet ligger rakt över hallen!
Det som fattas nu innan man kan sätta upp skivorna i taket är att dra om den gamla elen, samt att dra upp rör och kabel via vinden till elcentralen. Kommer att dra trefas till terrariets säkringsskåp, så att man inte överlastar någon huvudsäkring... Men det blir imorgon, nu orkar man väl knappt se på film - får bli lite Eureka på TV6!

Gotten myself a little snakenest in the terrarium now! Cable and tubing drawn now for all the junction boxes in the terrarium, with the box in the computer room left to run cable to. But why do I always wear a T-shirt when I know I'll be up poking about in the insulation... The shit really itches. It's lucky that the bathroom is right across the hallway!
What's left now before putting up the boards in the ceiling is to rewire the old electricity, and to run a tube and cable via the attic to the main fusebox. Will run three phases to the terrariums fusebox, so it won't overload the main fuses... But that will have to be done tomorrow, I'm so tired right now that I can barely watch a movie - probably an episode of Eureka instead!

Äntligen. Materialet har kommit! Lantmännen hade glömt att skriva in min adress, så jag fick aldrig någon inbetalningslapp. Var där igår och betalade och idag låg materialet utanför dörren och väntade. Tyvärr var dom fuktskyddade spånskivorna som jag ska ha på väggen restade... Men jag ska ändå börja med taket! Ska uppdatera kostnaderna lite, eftersom det blev lite dyrare än jag räknat ut innan... In o sätta upp takdosor nu!

Finally! The materials have arrived! The shop had forgot to put down my address, so I never got the invoice. Was there yesterday though and payed, and today the materials where outside my front door. Unfortunatly some of the humidity resistant particle boards where back-ordered... But I'm starting with the ceiling anyway! Will update the costs this weekend, since it ran over my previous estimates... Gonna go put up some junction boxes in the ceiling now!
