Roliga Projekt

Jippie! Fick lite tid till att börja gjuta upp golvet idag. Känns nästan som det är dags att beställa folien till väggarna. Men jag väntar nog tills efter jag lagt plastmattan...
Första bilden: Efter mycket svärande över att spacklet ville glida ner i bäcken, så bestämde jag mig för att göra en sats som var lite tjockare och dabba ut en remsa precis vid bäcken. Tanken var att det skulle stoppa upp resten av spacklet, och det funkade! Andra bilden visar hur det ser ut just nu. Använt avgränsningslister för att gjuta upp sista fallet mot bäcken och dammen. Denna kommer att ha en större lutning än resterande golv. Ska in en runda ikväll och dammsuga och stryka på primer på resten av golvet. Sen blir det bara till att rycka bort listen imorgon och börja gjuta resten!

Yeah! Got some time over to start screeding the floor today. Almost feels like it's time to order the vinyl for the walls. But I'll probably wait with that until I've laid the plastic mat...
First image: After a lot of swearing over the screed running into the creek, I decided to mix a thicker batch and dab out a strip just by the creek. The idea was that this would stop the rest of the screed to run into the creek, and it worked! The second image shows how it looks right now. I've used dividers when screeding the last bit towards the creek. This bit will have a larger drop against the creek than the rest of the floor. This is so the water runs back into the creek faster if the iguanas splash around in it! Will go in there one more time tonight to do some cleaning and brushing on primer on the rest of the floor. Then it's just the matter of ripping of the divider tomorrow and start screeding the rest of the floor!
