Roliga Projekt

Var ju tvungen att koppla in vattenpumparna för att se hur vattenfallet skulle se ut. Ser riktigt bra ut, speciellt med dimmern igång samtidigt. Fast den kommer inte att vara igång hela tiden, livslängden på membranen är bara 2000 timmar, så jag hade bara tänkt att ha den igång ett par timmar om dagen. Ett härligt ljud blir där av porlandet också!
Tyvärr så hade där blivit en ny läcka. Denna gången lite lättare att hitta och att laga. Det var min genomföring av avloppsröret som spökade, silikonet hade släppt från baljan. Bara till att rusa in med dräneringspumpen och pumpa ut allt vatten ur bäcken... Denna gången skar jag bort fogen runt den ena krukan och lyfte bort den, då kom jag åt bättre att moppa upp vattnet som letat sig ut på golvet. Återigen, fan vad skönt med ett svetsat plastgolv under terrariet! Genomföringen är nu tätad med TEC7 istället, både utanför och i baljan. När det fått härda ett par dagar ska jag nog tömma hela tuben runt genomföringen!
Lade givetvis upp ett litet klipp av vattenfallet med vattnet igång, tyvärr kommer inte mycket av ljudet med eftersom jag filmar med digitalkameran...

Had to hook up the waterpumps to see how the waterfall looked. Looks really good, especially with the dimmer/fogger on at the same time. Although, the fogger will not be running constantly since the membranes only lasts for around 2000 hours. I will only keep it on a few hours a day. A lovely sound from the water trickling down too!
Unfortunately a new leak had developed. This time a bit easier to find and fix. It was where the sewerpipe goes through the bucket, the silicone had come loose. Had to run in with the submersible pump and start pumping the water out of the creek and pond... This time I cut the seam around one of the pots and lifted it out. This way I could mop up the floor a lot faster. Yet again, thank god I have a welded plastic carpet beneath the terrarium! The pipe and basket are now sealed with TEC7, both on the outside and inside. And when that has set I will probably empty the rest of the tube in that place!
I also put up a small clip of how the waterfall looks with water running down. Unfortunately the sound is crappy, this comes from the fact that I'm using a digitalcamera to film...
